Tasting Matcha for the First Time

 Guess what guys – I tried Matcha! I heard the matcha trend was spreading like wildfire, and I wanted to see what this green drink had to offer. First off, I heard a mix of good and bad things about Matcha – some say it’s something to get into and some say it’s absolutely disgusting!  When I went to Starbucks I ordered the iced version of the drink. I made sure to shake it before I tasted it because some drinks have sweeter at the bottom. Overall, the drink looked promising because it kind of looked like a green Chai latte, however it tasted like watered down black tea. I was expecting more of a sweet taste, but it was the opposite of what I expected. I couldn’t finish the drink because it was so plain and honestly, I would rather drink plain water. Bottom line, I would rate it a 4/10.
